2010 Week-Long Summer Camps

Please register by filling out the registration card included in this packet.  Registration is due by June 15, 2010 to reserve a place in one of our Summer Camps. Please include a $50 non-refundable deposit with registration. Final payment is due on the first day of camp.

Princess Camp – Ages 3-6

August 2-6, 2010

AM Session: 9:00 AM-11:30 PM

PM Session: 11:30 AM-2:00 PM

This is the perfect camp for you little Princess!!  Students will participate in ballet, tap, and creative dance games and also get a snack and participate in arts and crafts! Each day a Disney Princess will visit the students at camp and the day will be themed around that princess. By the end of the week your little princess will make her own Tiara, Jewlery Box, princess jewelry, and royal invitations to our final performance to bring home!  Students will also learn a routine to their favorite Princess music and present their work during a performance on the last day of camp during the last half hour of each session.  Family and Friends are invited to come to our end of the session presentation!  Students will need ballet and tap shoes.  No prior dance experience is required.  $100 Per Session ($75 for any student also enrolled in the weekly summer ballet/tap combo class)

Pop Star Camp – 2nd-6th grade

August 16-20, 2010

9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Learn jazz, hip hop, and Lyrical routines to today’s biggest hits!  The focus of this camp is learning how to perform and become a “character” while you dance!  Students will practice making and working with props, get a snack each day of camp and present their choreography on the last day of camp at 12:45 for family and friends!  Prior Dance Experience is not required.  $140 per session ($100 for any student also enrolled in two summer technique classes; $75 for any student also enrolled in three or more summer technique classes)

Dance Intensive -  5th -8th grade and 9th grade - Adult

July 26-30, 2010

August 9-13, 2010

9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Students will work on ballet, jazz, hip hop, and modern/lyrical technique.  During the camp we will also focus on performance, choreography, and understanding the meaning behind dance movement.  Students will learn how to analyze and critique dance and will also participate in fitness classes such as stretch and strength and conditioning.  A guest instructor will offer a class to the students in this camp.  Students will present routines learned at camp on the last day of the session at 12:45 PM for family and friends.  There will be a designated snack time during camp and snacks will be supplied to students. Prior dance experience is recommended.  $140 per session ($100 for any student also enrolled in two summer technique classes; $75 for any student also enrolled in three or more summer technique classes)
