The Dance Studio came under the management of current owner and artistic director, Amy Famiglietti in September of 2006. Under the management of Amy, the studio has added ten classes to the Dance Studio’s current class list and also established The Senior and Junior Dance Companies. The Senior Dance Company is a performing group made up of selected students at The Dance Studio who must audition each year to become and remain a member of the group. The Dance Company has performed at many community events such as the Boston Aids Walk, the Keene, NH Pumpkin Festival, The Prudential Center Mall’s Winterlight’s Festival, The Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, the Massachusetts Special Olympics, and many more! The Senior Dance Company’s most recent accomplishment was their performance at The Walt Disney World Resort in April of 2009. The Junior Dance Company was established in the spring of 2009 and opens additional performance opportunities to our younger students. The Dance Studio works to provide a diverse and unique performing arts education to all students in a fun and artistic environment. We offer classes and performance opportunities to all age groups and students of varying skill levels! Whether you are looking to pick up dancing after a long hiatus, give it a first try, or are looking for a challenging dance education, The Dance Studio has something to offer for you. |
